“The stuff of hallucination” – The Wire

Peter Adriaansz’s recent release, Enclosures is reviewed in The Wire magazine’s December issue. “Listening to the music on Enclosures,” writes Julian Crowley, “is like wandering through a laboratory filled with strange botanical specimens or weirdly florescent chemical gardens. The context is rational; the content is the stuff of hallucination.”

The review describes Adriaansz’s work as having “an inquisitive spirit” and a “fascination with the inner life of sounds”. “Each of these mesmerising pieces,” concludes Crowley, “combines precise construction with an otherworldly sonic halo, its crystalline clarity of design tinged with complicating radiance.”
