Dublin composer Benedict Schlepper-Connolly launches his new album The weathered stone on 28 September 2016 with an immersive performance of beautiful and intricate compositions. The evening opens with a solo performance by reeds player Seán Mac Erlaine and ends with a launch reception.
Inspired by the secret histories of landscapes, old maps and memory, this is music that possesses the ecstatic, unforced beauty of the natural world – at once minimal and teeming with matter.
